Why is polyester (synthetic) fibre a suitable bedding material?

High lofting
Polyester fibre generates effective warmth and insulation by trapping air and body heat as it lofts. Fairydown uses only high loft polyester fibre in the manufacturing of its synthetic range of bedware.

Some synthetic products on the market use recycled fibre which does not provide an equivalent amount of loft nor warmth.

Machine Washable
Polyester fibre products are fully machine washable for hygiene and easy care. They are ideally suited to people who need to wash their bedding frequently.

Durable
Polyester fibre is resilient, durable and keeps its shape for lasting comfort.

Value For Money
Polyester fibre products offer good value for money as they are less expensive than natural fibre filled products.

It is also important to note that as a man-made fibre, polyester does not breathe so you will need to air your synthetic duvet more regularly to ensure its best performance.
